Our focus is on Derby & Derbyshire; we want volunteers with positive enthusiasm, commitment, willingness to learn, and who share our values around community, equality & diversity, respect, reliability, good team spirit
and the power of radio to make a difference, plus it's good fun!
We want to diversify the airwaves and break down barriers to participation for under represented and misrepresented groups so let us know if you need some support to get involved - we are here to help.
Host your own special Takeover show!
We offer local community groups, such as artist collectives, schools, youth groups, diverse community groups, media students and charities the chance to take over the airwaves - with our help you can get on the airwaves to showcase the music, local events and causes you love!
Dream of being on radio?
We provide free training and coaching so even if you have never done radio before we'll help you learn everything you need to know; whether you are a radio enthusiast, media student, retired, keen for a hobby, seeking somewhere to gain skills and build confidence or hungry to learn something new - join our friendly team!

Send us a demo show to get started - remember we are looking to add variety to our existing schedule, to celebrate Derby's diversity, build community spirit (no divisive 'shock jocks' for us!) and to offer local content relevant to Derby so have a listen to the station to get a feel for our format and then send us your ideas!
